That is most used sentence nowadays. Everything is rigged if things don't go on your way. Presidental election, football matches, hockey games.... It is rigged. This would be funny if it wouldn't be sad. Imagine adults can't stand lost in fair game.
Football world cup is coming to finale. It has been some amazing matches and performances on field. Some teams has truly done more than anybody could imagine. Capo Verde and their 41 yrs old goalie, wow, they believed themselves and didn't back up, they played 0-0 with Spain which in final now and gave some hard time to Argentina, losing during overtime match. Argentina is also in Final by the way.
And still some fans says that other teams had easier route on cup than others. Cup is rigged. Fifa is fixing game to favourite Argentina. Yes, FIFA is shit hole, corruption and it doesn't respect it own principals. One call from President and red card is turned. There is lot of things to discuss afterwards yet rigged and favourites it is not the one.
England shitted their pants against Argentina during semifinals. Yes every game there have been questionable calls from referees, yet nothing which would be total game changers.
How people even think that teams would suddenly loose to other team in world cup. It is not just one player you need to get play badly, it is 11 players plus more. For some players it is once in lifetime experience, for some others not. For some it is desperate to trying to show world that they are good, yet time has catched them.
Let's take this rigged things on river. You go fishing with your friend. And decide to have competition who is better one. Fishing different spot would not be totally equal so you decide fish few spots in turns.
Your friend will start and catch some fish, on your turn you don't catch anything. Of course you start to blame that he already caught all from there. You say it as joke yet you mean it. You go different spot and now it is turn to start. You don't catch anything and you start to blame river that it doesn't have fish and it is poorly managed. Your friend catch some again. Deciding pool, your friend will start and he catch again some fish, it looks like that you will lose. Now water owner comes and dumps lot of fish in pool before it's your turn. You catch lot of fish and win the competition. That would be rigged for sure and also favours to one. You would still be shitty fisherman and also shitty friend.
Water management can be shit and organization behind poor, river is not in greatest shape yet it doesn't automatically mean poor fishing. You just need to work harder for your fishing. You need to love the game.
This was not best possible comparision, yet I think you get idea. Organization is what it is, corruption, shitty and no clue about game. Don't hate the game because of organization, love the game, hate organization.
I had some guiding this week, game was pretty nice, some catches.
