Everyone is doing summaries about year 2025. How much they achieved, what things they did, travelled etc. Spotify gives you lists what you are top songs etc, even pornhub realises list what kind of porn people are watching in different countries.
December is time for these lists. I can easily say I fished too little, didn't travel enough, didn't spent enough time with casting. I didn't catch any dream fish this year.
happy about progress with my casting, not huge, yet important. I enjoyed every moment when fishing, even if I didn't catch trophy fish. I had some absolutely amazing moments on the river, feasting trout just few meters from me, some tricky shots which didn't give any fish.
All of those were huge learning experiences, mistakes and rushing too fast with casts. Next time I will know better, take more time and plan little bit more, even just few seconds more to calm down and make better presentations.
I had amazing time with Satu on our mini holidays, which is obvious, enjoyed company from friends. Even this year was just survival battle with all farm work, here we are, just watching what kind of shit next year will bring.
This week has been super busy and next week also. Winter tourism season really kicked off and we have 4 to 5 groups per day at farm. On the side we have to take care of reindeers and bring last ones from forest, some of them have to wait week or two before I can go to catch them.
Daylight is around 3 hours as shortest day was on Sunday so daylight is getting more now.
And what is my biggest achievement for year 2025? I survived Christmas and December without Last Christmas or All I want for Christmas is you or any other freaking Christmas songs. This is first year ever to do so, and I'm really happy about it. It truly made my year.
