This week has been going with same routine, and it's start to be boring. It is kind of nice as week has been little slower as Spanish are gone, which is awesome as weather is something that they couldn't handle so well.
People don't know how to wear clothes and that's it. They will have overalls which will easily keep you okay till - 30 celsius if you wear them right. People just have to look slim and nice and here we go, you all can't just be as handsome as I am killing it. Sorry folks.
They have possibility to have those good overalls. People take always their size and then fill they personal outdoor clothes underneath and then freezing. You just should have one size too big overall and little bit less under, and then always keep your toes and fingers moving.
Can't really blame them as workers who gives them overalls should know better. To be honest this week has been cold, not extreme, yet cold. So cold that I had to wear few days extra warming jacket when feeding reindeer and doing daily tasks out. Wearing extra jacket is first time in here.
Last week temps drop below - 20 celsius and have been more close to - 30 celsius, those would be okay if it wouldn't be so much humidity. Humidity is between 70 to 80, which makes cold much much colder than it actually is. It makes everything beautiful as covering trees with frost etc, yet bloody cold.
We have been heating fieplaces everyday at home, I haven't turned electricity heating on as it has been expensive shit. One morning we had only 15,3 celsius inside even mostly it is around 18 celsius which is okay with this weather. On that night when we had cooler house temps dropped out side from - 22 to - 33 celsius during the night.
I have been cooking dinners for guests who are staying in Nook. That one has been cosy and warm as we made some improvements before season, so there you will have always more than +20 celsius. I have been thinking if we should sleep there few nights.
So days has been wake up, have coffee, go work, cook dinner, heat up fireplaces and sleep. It should be more like, wake up, go work, practise, heat up sauna and sleep. Or even better would be wake up: eat, fish, sleep, and I can skip eat part also.
I see that some people are doing casting practise out somewhere with - 6 celsius, that would be okay still. Unfortunately temps with below - 20 celsius and humidity, no chance for me. Forecast is that it will continue like that one more week.
Last weekend I caught a few of our reindeers from forest and few still left. I try to go during weekend to get them and hopefully weather will warm just little bit.
Now it is impossible even think about having even 10 minutes casting practise as you need to wear thick gloves that your fingers don’t freeze.
Have a nice weekend.
