Friday 13th, some could say it is bad luck day. When I was working for Finnish army, it was kind of lucky day as salary was paid 15th of month and if it was 13th Friday... it was payment day. I'm writing this FP on Thursday evening, so I don't know what Friday 13th is bringing. I expecting worst and hoping best.
If you felt in January that I complained about cold weather, I want those words back and fast. I didn't complain, I just mentioned facts. As I do prefer that weather any day over what we have now. Not complaining now either, just stating fact.
We have heat wave now, temperature is around +4 celsius on day and zero at night. Some rain during day and snow is melting. I would love it if it would be two weeks from now. We still have two weeks left for high season before it basically dies. We still have 2-3 groups /day and after 27th it will be 2-3 groups/week.
Trails are getting soft, reindeers don't like this heat, everything is getting slush and wet. It is March, should be one of the best months during winter, sunny days , cold nights and auroras. Now it is grey, rain and grey.
There is one positive thing, I can start casting again as weather is not cold. And at the same time weather brings some extra work with melting snow. You can't have everything in life, can you.
So I have stated facts, I didn't complain. Anyways it is time to take rod out tomorrow and have short session in some point. It is time to turn the page and go for summer.
Today was also last fireplace dinner cooking for guests, season is coming closer to end. POD reindeer burger cooked on open fire
