It is Thursday evening when I write this. Normally I do it on Friday morning when having coffee. Night before I will finish the idea and on Friday it is an easy write. This week I had to do differently. Friday morning there is no time to sit down and write FP. The river is calling for sure.
Last weekend I had last guiding for this season, I think. Guest from Argentina, weather +6 celsius, north wind and on Saturday some heavy rain also. Not really weather for good fishing, still on Saturday we had great fishing with dry flies, not really big fish, yet few decent, and not really small ones at all. I was perfect day despite weather. Sunday was more difficult yet fish were bigger even he lost all the good ones. Overall good weekend.
On Wednesday I drove to Piteå, snooker night and short sleep, thursday up to Kraddselet. Satu kicked me out and told to go fishing, that's wife everyone love to have. I had short session in the evening, checking new spot. That looks promising for future, I think I need to fish it again this weekend. I only got few small graylings but it was more to discover how to wade etc. I did see few rises from big ones yet couldn’t reach those as they were on other side, as always.
I turned our minibus as camper van and will spend few nights like that. It should be okay even nights are dropping minus or close to that. When driving last part from Sorsele to Kraddsele it really hit.
Season and summer is coming to end. Leaves are changing colour and everything is different shade of yellows and purple and red. It is absolutely beautiful time and at the same time it is sad. You can't turn clock... summer is gone and winter is coming. It will be about 8 months of waiting before next decent fishing.
I try to take best from last trip, having good time with friends and especially fishing. For Friday I have perfect plan, wake up (early I hope), have breakfast, prepare lunch and dinner... go fishing and fish until dark. Plan is perfect, weather looks good.
It is coming to end, I try to take best part out of it.
