Happy freaking new year, new year same shit. Only things which are different is numbers in calender. There are also some other things which are different, yet those only you know.
It has been great to read Rickard's adventure in Malaysia, not the part that Paul was sick and he had to worry about Paul. Last FP he wrote about where he was fishing etc. My map file from brain computer opened and I could see where he has been.
Well not excatly as I don't know where Battleship was stationed, yet I had some thoughts where he could been fishing. Fishing in Malaysia is hard and rewarding in it's best. And it's fun until it is not.
I have been thinking Malaysia more than I should probably. One reason was Rickard's FP which brought memories back. Other one has been that we have had multiple guests from Malaysia and when there hear that we have been there... well they want to know what we did and when Asli Orang, fishing, Toman and mahseer are mentioned, we have talk to do.
As I said things are fun until not. In Malaysia I had three of those, not complaining as I took them as adventure and experience. First was Satu getting back problems which was just sad.
Then Ant Island, that night and morning was just fucking horrible, even I had before that ant experience in first camp, which was solved. On Ant Island that didn't work and I got full experience.
Third was pretty much on really end as big monitor lizard came basically under hammock few times. It was impossible to sleep as chipmunks, squirrels or what ever where hanging around and lizard probably came to find some food. I can tell that lizard was not really smooth operator while moving around.
And still I do miss Malaysia and want to go back one more time. Reason could be that as getting older I start to long warmth. When I was younger there was problem to work when it was - 30 celsius, now we have around - 20 and could stay inside.
For coming weekend it forecast is - 30 celsius and some areas could get even - 40 celsius. We still have busy weekend coming and some reindeer are in forest I should go catch those and bring home.
Everything is fun until it's not, cold weather, ants, lizards, even small flu.
Fishing is always fun, it can turn to be hard, yet still fun.
