My nephews came to Kuusamo for fishing trip. They are truly hooked now. I didn't have possibility to fish with them. Yet I have to admire that they did few days in around zero celsius. We had also first snow, so conditions were not best possible, even if sun was shining now and then. I got news that they caught few graylings and saw photo about extremely high water in one river, never seen that before on this time of year.
That had to be because heavy rain on Monday or was it Sunday? Days comes and goes, I need to check from calender what day it is. I had to even make calender reminder on Friday as it is my daughter's birthday.
Rain was probably on Sunday or did we even have one. Well in some point there was heavy rain, at least I remember changing winter tyres on last Friday evening or was it Thursday, just before snow fall.
On Monday we started to gather reindeer close to farm, and Tuesday we continued and got them in fence. The new one which we built in September. Wednesday same work on other fence and Thursday round up. Today is slaughter day and Saturday something else.
Wake up 6.30, be out before 8 am, come back home 8 pm, do preparations for next day, go bed around 11 pm. Repeat next day. It has been two weeks like that and will be week or two more.
No chance casting or fishing, reindeer work on daytime, dreaming same work on night. It is insane and I love it. It is same when having fishing trip, only one thing in mind. World can have own life, we have ours.
Beside there are no good news outside my bubble. Spacex is cutting starlink connection in Ukraine, Carrot is buying diesel from Russia, gasoline price in Finland is ridiculous.
So I keep living in my bubble little longer, it is good now.
