Update from north

Intensive week behind with reindeer and hunting. We got some fresh snow on Saturday and it meant that we were able track wolves. On Friday I found one ot the Satu's reindeer killed by wolves.

Life has it circle in here. We do have lot of wolves in here. I would say too many.  Reindeer round ups are going on and we can see many calves are lost after summer.

We are really getting ready for winter season. There are requests coming about ice fishing all the time, haven't time for that just now. Next week ice fishing season will be open also, ice should be safe and thick enough.

When you read this I will be sleeping. And it doesn't matter where and what time... I will be sleeping. Our annual reindeer meat delivery to southern Finland is on Thursday, I will start 4 am. Plan is 1900 km and back home, let's see how that goes.

Satu has been cleaning yard from farm. I have flyfishing set-up ready and she asked where to put it. I told her that let it be. It will be ready if you or I want to make some casting practise.

So life is going slowly forward in here. No fishing at the moment, but not a single second that I'm not thinking about it. I'm haunted by waters, dreaming about Malaysia and NZ.

Have a nice weekend and go fishing
